Not all of the big projects start this way, but I do love making a sketch over photocopies.
I discovered that it was easier for me also, to figure out how the tattoo would look on the person. Obviously, later drawing it free hand or making a stencil on actual size brings new challenges.
The photocopies are just a guideline. Plane and straight. The skin have many curves, and sometimes I find “bumps” and “holes” that only can be felt with the touching of my hands.
Hand perception is more important than visual contact.
And suddenly, unexpected rain outside. Just thinking while tattooing. The beauty of transcribing a sincere love message onto someone’s arm.
外は雨。必ず休みの日には雨。ここん所ずうと続くパターン。
人様の愛の証を彫れる喜び。
自分の役割はこれだ!と感じた瞬間。
自分の愛に関しては身勝手。人を傷付けたけど、振返ってもショウガナイ。
ショウガナイ精神で全部片付ける事こそが身勝手なのか?
それも愛ではないのか?
愛の形は違えど、表現も変わる。
ここん所”渦”をバックグラウンドに多様。
こうして渦巻く愛よ、明日は晴れてくれ。
