Time for some “western” dragons. I wasn’t very familiar with the image back in Japan, as far I can remember I tattooed 2 big one’s (half sleeve) on 2 girls! And now time for another girl wanting a fair decent size for her first tattoo.

People might think dragons are more a male design rather than a female choice. Obviously there’s no such rule, so anyone is entitled to have a design they wish. We do connect certain images to a gender, yes. But, the gender is not a barrier or excuse to refrain from this or that motif. Get what you want, not what is dictated.

こっちではジャパニーズスタイルの”龍”ももちろん人気あるが、昔から西洋で語り継がれている”ドラゴン”もポピュラーだ。
どちらとも神秘的なイメージ、力等を象徴するからではないか。ある意味龍こそ古今東西、最高の”お守りタトゥー”ではないか。
