First session on our friend Niklas.
Since I moved down here, requests for Tribal/ Black work tattoo had increased.
In a effort to keep myself updated, I had visited a very good Anthropological museum at the end of the year.
I found many Pacific Island patterns, obviously. However, I did took the inspiration for this particular tattoo from objects used at Buddhist ceremonies in Tibet (also displayed in the same museum). If you look at the “shape” of negative skin space, you can see it.

リピーターのお客さんです。最初に彫ったタトゥーはあまり僕のスタイルとは直接関係する柄ではなかったが、今回は色々と写真を見て、より多くの情報を得てから来てくれました。
圧倒的にトライバルを元にしたタトゥーのリクエストが増えてるんで、年末に人類学博物館が訪問リストの一つでした。
行ってよかった！
ネタはゴロゴロありました。でも実は、写真上のチベット密教で使われる小物等が形として、今回のタトゥーのヒントになりました。
太平洋諸島の文様や柄だけがトライバルって事ではないんで。
トライバルとは民族と言う意味でもありますからネ
